The Village Protection Policy, see below Proposed Landscape Protection Policy, was adopted in its entirety by Smeeth PC at its September 2018 meeting “for use as a consideration when commenting on planning applications in the Parish.”
It was originally hoped that the Village Protection Policy (VPP) in its entirety would be incorporated into the Ashford Local Plan 2030 but this did not happen as Ashford Borough Council felt that the salient points were incorporated into the Local Plan 2030.
